This is a terrific place to stay near Victoria. Our host was friendly, accommodating and served a great breakfast with lots of fruit. The room was spotless and well furnished and the street location was great - nice quiet neighbourhood with access to a small beach. We wished we could have stayed longer to take in some of the hikes in the area.

From the stunning surroundings, the spotlessly clean and modern accomodation to the welcoming and friendly hosts I cannot fault this place. It has everything you could need to make it relaxing and comfortable. Our host was amazingly friendly and helpful and this really enhanced our stay. Karey really thought of everything to make our stay a memorable one and would highly recommend this place for anyone planning on staying in the area

There is a comfortable family feeling here. Karey's warm welcome and walk around the property is only the beginning of a wonderful stay. Lovely gardens and the ocean a short walk away. Great local restaurants nearby. Accommodation were clean and upscale, everything you would need. They went beyond. Little extras everywhere like in the bathroom drawers just in case you forgot something. Warm home made croissants with Karey's pear jam was the best and a visit with Wallie her new puppy was precious.You will feel like family.We will stay here again! We stayed as a family of 4 and enjoyed this quaint and serene retreat away from the city. Hosts Karey and Howie provided 5-star services and we were delighted every morning with freshly baked treats! We found the place to be clean with functional facilities for a family with a washer/dryer, kitchenette and fridge stocked with the basic groceries! We would definitely recommend this for short or long stays!

We only stayed one night. Karey was great, pleasant, helpful, gracious. The room, and bed were very comfortable. Coffee, tea, creamers, and biscotti were supplied as well as luxurious robes. The bathroom had everything we needed, and more. We left too early to partake in breakfast. The photos are accurate. Really the only thing I would suggest would be easily accessible outlets on each side of the bed for charging devices.

This is the best vacation house we have ever stayed, excellent location, beautiful surroundings, and every kind hosts. The rooms are very well set up with everything you would need. Karey was very welcoming and she made absolute the best croissants and cookies! We had our breakfast in the beautiful backyard. My kids enjoyed reading books the hosts prepared. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here next time if we come to this area. Thanks Karey and your family!

We arrived from up Island, and our stay was only for two days, but this was an excellent choice. We wanted to stay away from the sterile chain hotels, with their "cookie cutter" rooms and amenities. Our choice of Coles Bay Resort was excellent, from the surroundings to the superlative breakfast in the morning!
I would highly recommend Coles Bay Resort, (and in fact have already done so among friends who regularly travel to the Victoria area).

We wanted a comfortable and quiet place near Butchart Gardens. Coles Harbour was that and more from Karey's delicious croissants in the morning to the lovely walk down to the beach area to watch the sunset. It was a quick drive to the Gardens and to the many restaurants in the area. Quite a memorable visit - thanks!

Amazing hosts who truly care about their guests! The cottage was superb and the preparation for our arrival was outstanding. Thought and care put into every detail. The morning croissants and fruit were a great way to start our day.

We stayed in the beautiful cottage/suite for one night prior to catching an early morning flight from Victoria airport a short 5 minute drive away. It was the end of our ten day vacation on the island and it was just what we needed in every way. Karey was so accommodating and kind. The suite was extremely clean and well equipped, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We arrived to find all the comforts of home; plush towels, high quality bed linens and even a pack and play for our granddaughter to sleep in and fresh baked cookies out of the oven. Karey has literally thought of everything to make the stay a little piece of heaven. Thank you so much Karey.
